Course Syllabus

Pathway to CRT - Foot Reflexology

Step One: Select your semester and pay your tuition

Now is the right time to become a Certified Reflexology Therapist.

  1. Quanta offers classes during three semesters per academic year.

Step Two: Enrollment to Quanta

Once your tuition is received, you will receive your receipt of payment along with a link to complete your registration from

  1. Quanta will send the student all CRT Foot Reflexology materials (they are included in your tuition, along with free shipping)
  2. Welcome email with invitation to join our online school platform. This will include access to our school store with exclusive discounts for enrolled/active students.
  3. Program pathway emails outlining the journey you will take to complete your program.

Step Three: Core Knowledge Course

As soon as you are enrolled into your CRT program you will be granted online access to The Core Reflexology component of the program. This is done as self study, optimally you can complete this prior to the beginning of your Specialization Course, however oftentimes it will be completed alongside your Specialization Course. To complete Core Knowledge you will be required to:

  1. Read the Core Reflexology Course Manual
  2. Complete the Core Reflexology Workbook
  3. Watch all recorded content on the Quanta platform. This includes twenty-five modules
  4. Complete a written exam

The Core Knowledge component of your CRT program is largely theoretical. Students will typically complete in 2-6 months

Step Four: Foot Reflexology

Your specialization course will be have scheduled start dates depending on your selected semester

  1. Enrolled students will receive the class syllabus and calendar.
  2. Specialization courses may contain three possible learning components. Recorded content, live virtual classes, in-person practical (requires travel).
  3. The specialty will include course manual, worksheets, workbooks
  4. A written exam will need to be completed

Students should attend all live virtual classes, however recordings will be accessible for 18 months

Foot Reflexology includes mandatory in-person practical, this must be attended to complete the program

Step Five: Professional Practice

This is the stage in which you put in the do the practical components. Students will complete 50 case studies. These are done in the comfort of your own schedule with your own selection of family or friends as practical clients.

Also required will be:

  1. Receiving a paid treatment from a reflexology professional
  2. Complete a mandatory review of your case studies
  3. A practical exam to be administered in-person with a school practical partner. Thes are in-person and to be conducted in your local area

Step Six: Apply to Professional Organization

Congratulations! You have completed your CRT.

After receiving your certification and completing your professional practice you can now apply to regional or national organization for accreditation and additional benefits of being certified. These may include insurance eligibility, liability insurance, designations.

Step Seven: Start Achieving Your Career Goals

Our graduates start their own practice, work at integrative clients, create a mobile clientele. build in-house corporate partnerships.

About Your Instructor

CRT: Foot Reflexology program is lead by Erica Layton Weiland.

She is based in Calgary, Alberta, Canada and is the founder of Quanta School of Reflexology and the Reflexology Experience Clinic.

Erica is a licensed instructor by the Reflexology Association of Canada and the International School of Multireflexology Dien Chan. She brings a dynamic teaching style to the CRT: Foot Reflexology program. Her background in psychology, energy work, fitness training and cellular & sport nutrition blend beautifully with her deep understanding of reflexology, the human body and energetic movement.
