Quanta School of Reflexology
Instructors and students working together to evolve the art of reflexology. Moving the method forward to build a better system of preventable medicine and healthcare options for the whole body.
We are not a campus. Teaching is delivered online, with in-person practical training held at our clinic-based teaching space.
Quanta is located in Calgary, Alberta. Teaching is delivered on our online platform. Live virutal lessons on Zoom plus recorded content you work through at your own pace. Students can join us from anywhere in the world.
The one exception is the four-day in-person practical, held at our clinic-based teaching space - Reflexology Experience in Calgary. It is required for the 240-hourand 360-hour programs, and it is where hands-on skill is taught and assessed. All other courses and programs can be enjoyed in the comfort of your home or on your mobile device.
Three methods, each taught from a free introduction through to professional certification.
FOOT REFLEXOLOGY
The most established and most researched form, and what most clients look for when they book reflexology. Accredited 360-hour diploma, 240-hour
and 120-hour certifications, plus masterclasses.

DIEN CHAN FACIAL REFLEXOLOGY
The original facial reflexology method, created by Professor Bùi Quôc Châu in 1980s Vietnam. Quanta is the only school where students can
become registered reflexologists in Dien Chan. Accredited 360-hour diploma, 240-hour and 120-hour certifications, short courses and
masterclasses.

EAR SEEDING AND AURICULAR THERAPY
Based on Dr Paul Nogier's auricular map, and often used where the nervous system is involved. 120-hour Auricularmedicine certification
with Lise Couture, plus a short course in earseeding. We do not currently offer an accredited diploma in this method.

People arrive here by very different doors. Some want a profession. Some want to understand their own body. Both are welcome, and neither is treated as a lesser version of the other.
People looking for another way forward
You have something ongoing — poor sleep, jaw tension, headaches, stress you cannot put down, digestion that will not settle, feet that hurt by the afternoon. You have been through the usual channels and come out holding another prescription, or nothing at all.
You are not looking for a miracle. You are looking for something you can understand and do yourself, taught properly rather than sold to you.
That is what our short on-demand courses are for. Four to twelve hours, no professional ambition required, no expectation that you go further. You learn where to work, why it works that way, and how to use it on yourself and the people around you.
We will not tell you reflexology treats or cures anything. What we will do is teach you the map, the reasoning and the technique, and let you find out what it does for you.

People curious about skin, from the inside
If you have worked through the shelf of products and suspect the answer is not another bottle, facial reflexology is a genuinely different proposition.
Dien Chan reads the face as a map of the whole body. Rather than treating the surface, it works with what is showing on it — and the tools are shaped for that, not for spreading cream. The Chan'beauté side of the method sits where skincare and therapy meet.
Our Foundations of Facial Reflexology course is eight hours on demand and assumes no prior training. Many people start there out of curiosity about their own skin and stay for the rest of it.

Working therapists and estheticians
Massage therapists, estheticians and holistic practitioners adding an accredited credential to a practice you already have.
You already hold the clients, the room, the insurance and the booking system. You are adding a service rather than building a business, which usually makes the commercial case straightforward. Facial work in particular is far gentler on your hands than deep tissue — a real consideration in a career where hands decide how long you last.
Our programs can be used with national associations to add reflexology to an existing designation.
Healthcare professionals planning a second act
Nurses and allied health professionals, often twenty years into the system, wanting a second career that carries real credibility rather than a hobby's worth.
You arrive fluent in anatomy, physiology and medical terminology, which means the part most students find hardest is the part you find easy. You also tend to be the most disciplined people in the cohort, and you ask the questions everyone else needed asked.
If national registration matters to you — and for this group it usually does — the 360-hour accredited diploma is the route.
What the career actually looks like
Career changers starting fresh
No clinical background, no prior training, no idea where to begin. Our programs assume exactly that. We start from foundational anatomy and build.
There are no prerequisites for any level, and all three start on the same dates. You are not required to work up from the bottom.
What being a student is actually like
Not sure which of these you are
Plenty of people start a short course for themselves and find, halfway through, that they want to practise. That is a common route and a good one — nothing is wasted, and the reasoning you learn in the on-demand courses is the same reasoning taught in the diploma.
You can also just start free. Join the Quanta Learning Platform at no charge, take a free class, and decide from there.
Reflexology is unregulated in most of North America and the world. Anyone can can claim they are doing reflexology. That is exactly why it is worth being specific about accreditation and its importance.
The Reflexology Association of Canada has accredited two of our programs, both at 360 hours: the Certified Foot Reflexology Therapist diploma and the Dien Chan Clinician diploma. Both are accredited as complete foundational training against RAC's entry-to-practice
competencies. Graduates of either are eligible to apply for the RCRT exam, which leads to professional membership with RAC or other national association bodies in the world.
Our 120-hour and 240-hour programs are certification programs issued by Quanta School of Reflexology. They are built on the same curriculum foundation and they teach real skills. Expertise, content, style and connection to students are a source of pride. Focusing on continued improvement with each semster and offering.
Reflexology Association of Canada — our accrediting body. RAC accredited both 360-hour diplomas and administers the RCRT exam. RAC is also a founding member of the World Reflexology Consortium, alongside the national associations of the United Kingdom, Australia and New Zealand. The consortium is a collaboration on shared standards, not an automatic transfer of credentials between countries.
International School of Multireflexology Dien Chan — the body through which the licensed Dien Chan and Chan'beauté curriculum is taught outside Vietnam. We teach it through a direct partnership with Patryck Aguilar Cassarà , and Erica L. Weiland is its Education Director.
Reflexology Association of America, Natural Health Practitioners of Canada and the International Council of Reflexologists — associations we work alongside in the wider profession.
Dien Chan is the original facial reflexology method, created byProfessor Bùi Quôc Châu in Vietnam in the 1980s. It is not a singlereflex map applied by routine. It works with more than twenty facialdiagrams at once, so the same area can be read several ways making it diagnostic rather than protocol-based.
Almost everywhere in the world, facial reflexology sits outside theprofessional framework. It is taught as continuing education, as a spatreatment, as a technique to add on. Rarely as a discipline with aregistration pathway of its own.
Quanta is the only school where a student can become a registeredreflexologist through Dien Chan facial reflexology. Our 360-hour DienChan Clinician diploma is accredited by the Reflexology Association of Canada — the same accreditation, at the same hours, as our footreflexology diploma.
We teach the licensed Dien Chan and Chan'beauté curriculum through adirect partnership with Patryck Aguilar Cassarà of the International School of Multireflexology. Erica L. Weiland is the school's Education Director. That relationship is what makes accredited Dien Chan training possible in North America and Europe and it is not something that can simply be acquired.
It also shapes how we teach it. Because the method came out of anacupuncture tradition, it reads signs as having a quality rather thanonly a location — and works them with instruments chosen to match. Themultireflex tools we supply are the same numbered instruments used inthe method's home, hand-made in Vietnam.
Like all good schools, you need a school store. We train practitioners, and practitioners need the right tools for the job.
Multireflex tools
The numbered instruments of Dien Chan including rollers, rakes, spheres, hammers, brushes and detectors. Each shape does specific work: a detector finds and works a precise point, a roller covers an area, a rake disperses. They are hand-made in Vietnam, the home of the method.
Chan'beauté skincare
The skincare side of the Dien Chan curriculum, used in professional facial treatment alongside the tools.
Books, diagrams and teaching aids
Multireflexology Dien Chan by Patryck Aguilar Cassarà , the pocket mini-book of diagrams, condition reference cards, poster sets, and anatomical foot models.
Kystaline energy tools
Sacred geometry tools hand-built from layered copper, brass and gold — rings, pyramids and spheres used in energy work.
