Case Studies: Self-Guided Practical

Students will be required to submit case studies as part of their professional practice course component. The clients and location of this practical work is chosen by the student.

100 Total Case Studies

50 with full documentation, 50 with basic documentation.

Students are self-guided, receiving a mandatory review with their instructor after their first 20 case studies.

Practical Exam

Following completion of 100 case studies, the student will be required to perform a full Dien Chan Clinician treatment on an examiner in their local area. With a passing grade of 80%

Graduation

Congratulations after successfully completing your practical exam, you will be issued your physical diploma by mail. You will also receive your program transcripts. The graduate can now apply to a national governing body for registration as a reflexolgist

About Your Instructor

Dien Chan Clinician program is lead by Erica Layton Weiland.

She is based in Calgary, Alberta, Canada and is the founder of Quanta School of Reflexology and the Reflexology Experience Clinic.

Erica is a licensed instructor by the Reflexology Association of Canada and the International School of Multireflexology Dien Chan. As a reflexology teacher for 10 years, she brings a dynamic teaching style to the Dien Chan Clinician program

Her background in psychology, energy work, fitness training and cellular & sport nutrition blend beautifully with her deep understanding of reflexology, the human body and energetic movement.

Often asked about Dien Chan Clinician

Dien Chan (Multireflexology – Dien Chan) is a Vietnamese facial reflexology method developed by Professor Bùi Quốc Châu beginning in 1980. It works with 257 bqc-points and multireflex tools on the face to support the whole body.

It is a 360-hour professional program in Dien Chan and Chan'beauté facial reflexology. The curriculum is licensed by the International School of Multireflexology Dien Chan (EiMDC, Toulouse, France), and graduates receive a Dien Chan Clinician diploma.

No prior experience is required. The program is open to anyone 18 or older and teaches you from the ground up.

Students complete the program at their own pace and have up to 18 months to complete. (from the first day of class) Most students complete finish in 12–15 months studying about 5 hours per week.

It is blended: self-paced online lessons and live virtual classes, plus a mandatory 4-day in-person practical in Calgary, Alberta (February 12–15, 2027)

Students must join lessons live or view the records, attend in-person practicial and complete 100 case studies (50 formal and 50 practice) with instructor feedback, and pass two written exams and one practical exam at the 80% standard.

Dien Chan Clinician has been accepted by the Reflexology Association of Canada, Natural Health Practicioners of Canada as part of their registered programs. We are partners in the United States with Reflexology Associaiton of America and American Reflexology Certification Board. This can allow for students to receive a designation from a variety of associations and organizations across North America, Europe and Oceania.

Following successful completion og the program, graduates can apply to partner associations to obtain a designation in facial reflexology. This allows the ability to gain liability insurance for your business and become eligible for insurance.

You can start your own Dien Chan practice, work in clinics or spas, or add facial reflexology to existing services. Graduates can also apply to national reflexology bodies for professional registration and liability insurance.
