Frequently asked questions
1) How much time do I actually need to commit each week?
Expect 3-5 hours/week. This includes scheduled lessons, self-study, practice, exam prep, case studies. Most students balance this around their current work schedule. You have 18 months to complete the entire program, you can adjust as needed.
2) I have lots of available time to focus on this training, how quickly can I complete the program
Nine months would be the fastest a student could complete the program. The guided lessons, in-person practical, exam requirements are scheduled for over five months from your start date. After successfully completing this portion you will move to case studies. With proper planning and execution, a fast track student could complete in as little 4 months.
3) What are the in-person requirements? Do i need to travel?
This program has a mandatory four days in-person training held in Calgary, Canada. (airport code YYC) It is a requirement you attend all four days in full to qualify for your diploma. If something arises and you cannot complete the full four days, you will need to transfer to another semester to meet this requirement. *fee is applicable

Guided self-paced study with live instruction and in-person practical training.
360-hour professional certification in Multireflexology – Dien Chan and Chan'beauté facial reflexology, delivered by Quanta School of Reflexology. The curriculum is licensed by the International School of Multireflexology Dien Chan (EiMDC, Toulouse, France). On completion you earn a Dien Chan Clinician diploma and can apply to national reflexology bodies (RAC, ARCB, IICRT) for professional registration.

Curriculum
Module 1 – Foundations: History and philosophy of Dien Chan (Prof. Bùi Quốc Châu), facial diagrams and reflex mapping, Yin-Yang theory and internal organs on the face, Chan'beauté fundamentals, client communication.
Module 2 – Advanced Techniques: Facial mapping with bqc-points, the "Detection" technique for precise point location, the philosophy of "Tuy" (individualized treatment design), complex Yin-Yang balancing, therapeutic and aesthetic formula combinations.
Module 3 – Clinical Mastery: Real-world practice refinement, professional ethics, complex case management, building your practice, and exam preparation.
In-Person Practical Training
- Dates: Feb 12–15, 2027
- Location: Calgary, AB
- 30 hours, 9:00am–6:00pm daily
- No prior experience needed; attendance is mandatory for certification.
Certification Exams
- Written 1 – Core Reflexology
- Written 2 – Dien Chan Clinician
- Practical exam – live demonstration on a real client
- 80% pass standard. Retake fee $150 CAD. Written exams in-person or online.

Case Studies: Self-Guided Practical
Students will be required to submit case studies as part of their professional practice course component. The clients and location of this practical work is chosen by the student.
100 Total Case Studies
50 with full documentation, 50 with basic documentation.
Students are self-guided, receiving a mandatory review with their instructor after their first 20 case studies.
Practical Exam
Following completion of 100 case studies, the student will be required to perform a full Dien Chan Clinician treatment on an examiner in their local area. With a passing grade of 80%
Graduation
Congratulations after successfully completing your practical exam, you will be issued your physical diploma by mail. You will also receive your program transcripts. The graduate can now apply to a national governing body for registration as a reflexolgist

Dien Chan Clinician program is lead by Erica Layton Weiland.
She is based in Calgary, Alberta, Canada and is the founder of Quanta School of Reflexology and the Reflexology Experience Clinic.
Erica is a licensed instructor by the Reflexology Association of Canada and the International School of Multireflexology Dien Chan. As a reflexology teacher for 10 years, she brings a dynamic teaching style to the Dien Chan Clinician program
Her background in psychology, energy work, fitness training and cellular & sport nutrition blend beautifully with her deep understanding of reflexology, the human body and energetic movement.
